Request SBI Cheque Book Through SMS

Make sure that your mobile number is registered with the SBI Bank. And just follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1

First of all register your account for the SBI Quick Missed Call Banking facility. And then send an SMS in the below format from your registered mobile number.

SMS Format:

“REG<space>Account Number” and it to 09223488888.

For example: REG 12345678901

Make sure you send this SMS from the registered mobile number for that particular account. You will receive a confirmation message for a successful or unsuccessful registration. If it is successful then you can start using this facility.

Now you can order an SBI chequebook by sending SMS from your registered mobile number.

Step 2

To request a new chequebook send an SMS in the below format.

SMS Format:

“CHQREQ” and send it to 09223588888

To confirm your request, you will receive an SMS. Just send consent SMS to 09223588888 (e.g. CHQACC Y 6 digit no. received in SMS). You need to send it within 2 hours of receipt of SMS.

That’s all. Your request submitted successfully. It will be delivered to your address within 10 days.
