What is IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card?

IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card is the new generation Credit Card from IndusInd Bank. The card allows you to make faster payments at merchant locations accepting contactless payments with just a tap. This card can also be used for online transactions, standard shopping, and at ATMs.

The card has interactive buttons on the face of the card. The card gives greater flexibility to you to decide the mode of payment for a particular transaction at a POS terminal. You can choose to pay by Credit, EMIs, or Reward Points. The card incorporates technology that is new for a payment card.

How to use the IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card?

The IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card has buttons for payment options. When you press a button, the LED light of the pressed button illuminates to indicate the payment selection. It gives you the flexibility to pay using any of the following options at a POS:

1. Pay in full by credit option

To pay with credit option, press the credit button on it. This works just like your regular card.

2. Pay by reward points

To pay using rewards points, press the rewards button on your card before authorizing the transaction. However, the transaction will be approved only for the available credit limit on your account. The reward points will get deducted against the transaction within two working days.

3. Pay by EMI (Equal installments of 6,12,18 and 24 months)

To pay with EMI, you need to select the number of months by pressing the EMI button before authorizing the transaction. For example, For 6 months, press the EMI button once. For 12 months, press the EMI button twice, and so on. Please make sure the LED light of your preferred tenure option illuminates before using the card. You can choose EMI tenure of 6,12,18 and 24 months at an interest rate of 12%. The EMI option using the EMI button for payments is available for transactions above Rs. 2,000.

Please note that the option of pay using EMI or reward points is not enabled for online transactions.

Notable Points about IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card

1. This card works like a regular card for online transactions. You can use the credentials printed on the back of the card to complete your transaction.

2. For in-store transactions, simply press a button with your preferred option to pay.

3. Initially, the indicator will emit light constantly and then starts blinking periodically, for up to 6 minutes.

4. You may insert, swipe, or tap your card during these 6 minutes.

5. The LED light will switch off 20 seconds after a transaction. In case there is no transaction happens, it will switch off after 6 minutes.

6. You can turn off the LED light by pressing the illuminated button again.

7. The EMI and Rewards buttons on this card can be used only while transacting at POS merchant outlets. This will not apply to Online, IVR, Samsung Pay, Moto, and ATM cash withdrawal transactions. For such transactions, the card will work like a regular card. However, you may choose the EMI option without using the buttons, if it is provided by merchants for online transactions.
