ASKs offer a comfortable air-conditioned environment for visitors. All ASK are wheel-chair friendly. And have special provisions to service the elderly or specially-abled.
UIDAI plans to set up 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendra in 53 cities across the country. The ASK will function along with over 35,000 Aadhaar Kendra already being run by post offices, banks, BSNL, and state governments.

You can book an appointment for yourself or a family member from the UIDAI’s website. Aadhaar Seva Kendra appointment is free of cost service for all resident. You will need a mobile number for booking an appointment. Note that it does not require an Aadhaar registered mobile number. However, you can book a maximum of 4 appointments in a month.

6. The form includes filling in appointment details, personal details, time slot details, and review appointment detail.

8. Here, you need to check your appointment details. If all details are correct then click on the “Submit” tab.
9. After a successful submission, you will get a booking appointment number.

1. First of all, click on the “Proceed to Book Appointment” tab.
2. Next screen, enter your mobile number and enter the captcha code. Click on the “Send OTP” tab.

4. After successful authentication, a new page will be displayed with two options of “New Enrolment” and “Update Aadhaar”. Select the service you want to access from the options available.

Service Process at Aadhar Seva Kendra
The Aadhaar Seva Kendra has 4/8/16 operator stations as per the defined model per city. The ASKs can handle up to 250/500/1000 service requests per day.
The ASK follows an online Appointment Management System for the people who book their appointment before visiting the ASK. An automated Token Management System for the walk-in residents at the ASK. The last token for the day is given at 5:30 pm every day.

Charges for availing Aadhaar Services at any Aadhar Seva Kendra are:
1. Aadhaar enrolment: Free
2. Mandatory biometric update for kids (at age 5 and 15 years): Free
3. For any biometric update with or without demographic update: Rs.100
4. For the only demographic update: Rs.50
5. Download Aadhaar and coloured print: Rs.30
Note that an update of more than one field on a single instance will be considered as one update.
