The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has recently launched the Aadhar in the form of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) card. The “Order Aadhaar PVC Card” service facilitates the Aadhar holder to get their Aadhar printed on a PVC card. In this post, let us take a look at how to get your Aadhar Card PVC print online.

Different forms of Aadhaar

The following are four different forms of Aadhar.

1. Aadhaar Letter

It is a paper-based laminated letter sent to residents free of cost by ordinary post in case of new enrolment.

2. eAadhaar/Masked eAadhar

It is the electronic form of Aadhar, digitally signed by UIDAI, having a QR code for offline verification.

3. mAadhaar

It is a digital form of Aadhar which can be installed on a mobile device.

4. PVC Aadhaar Card

This is the latest form of Aadhar introduced by UIDAI.

You can choose to have one or more forms of Aadhar as per your convenience. All forms of Aadhar are equally valid as proof of identity.

Order Aadhaar PVC Card Service

It is a new service launched by UIDAI. This service facilitates the Aadhar holder to get their Aadhar printed on a PVC card by paying nominal charges. The Aadhar holders who do not have a registered mobile number can also order using an alternate mobile number.

The PVC-based Aadhaar Card is the latest form of Aadhar and contains the following security features:

3. Micro text

4. Ghost image

5. Issue Date and Print Date

You need to pay Rs.50/- (Inclusive of GST & speed post charges) to get plastic Aadhaar Card.

How to request Aadhaar PVC Card online?

Aadhar Card PVC print online request can be raised by visiting the UIDAI Official Website or Resident Portal (http://www.uidai.gov.in or https://resident.uidai.gov.in). Use 12 digits Aadhar Number or 16 digits VID or 28 digits Enrollment ID to print PVC Aadhaar card online. You can raise your request using a registered or non-registered mobile number.

Aadhar Card PVC print online using Registered Mobile Number

1. Visit https://uidai.gov.in or https://resident.uidai.gov.in

2. Next, click on the “My Aadhar” option on the home page.

3. Under “Get Aadhar” click on the “Order Aadhaar PVC Card”.

4. Enter your 12 digit Aadhar Number or 16 digits Virtual Identification Number or 28 digits Enrollment ID and security code.

5. Click on the “Request OTP” tab if you do not have TOTP else choose the “I have TOTP” option by clicking in the check box.

6. Next enter OTP/TOTP received on the registered mobile number.

7. Check in the box against “Terms and Conditions”. Click on the hyperlink to read them. Click on the “Submit” tab for verification.

8. Next screen, you can see the preview of the Aadhar details for verification before placing the order for print Aadhar PVC.

9. Click on the “Make payment” option to make the payment. You can pay using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, and UPI.

10. Once payment is done, the receipt will get generated. You can download it in PDF format. You will also receive the SRN (Service Request Number) via SMS.

11. You can track the status of SRN till the dispatch of the Aadhar Card on Check Aadhaar Card Status.

12. SMS containing AWB number will also be sent once dispatched from DoP. You can further track the delivery status by visiting the DoP website.

Aadhaar PVC print using Non-Registered/Alternate Mobile Number

1. Visit https://uidai.gov.in or https://resident.uidai.gov.in

2. Click on the “My Aadhar” tab on the home page.

3. Under “Get Aadhar” click on the “Order Aadhaar PVC Card”.

4. Enter your Aadhar Number or Virtual Identification Number or Enrollment ID. Enter the security code.

5. Next you need to check in the box “If you do not have a registered mobile number.

6. Here enter a Non-Registered or Alternate Mobile Number and click on the “Send OTP”.

7. Check in the box against “Terms and Conditions”. Click on the hyperlink to read them. Click on the “Submit” tab to complete OTP verification.

8. No preview of the Aadhar details will be available.

9. To make the payment, click on the “Make Payment” option. Just pay using your Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, and UPI.

10. Once done, the receipt will get generated. You can download the receipt in PDF format. You will also get the SRN (Service Request Number) via SMS.

11. Track the status of SRN till dispatch of your Aadhaar Card on Check Aadhaar Card Status.

12. You will get an SMS containing the AWB number once the card is dispatched from DoP. You can track the delivery status by visiting the DoP website.

How to check the status of the print PVC Aadhaar Card online?

You can check the status of the Aadhar Card PVC print online at www.uidai.gov.in under the “My Aadhar” tab. Next click on the “Check Aadhaar PVC Card Status” option.

Next screen, enter the Service Request Number, Aadhar number, and captcha code. The status displayed after clicking on the “Check Status” tab.

How many days will it take to receive the print Aadhaar PVC?

As per the UIDAI website, the UIDAI will hand over the printed card to the DoP within 5 working days (excluding the date of request). Your PVC Aadhaar card delivered using Speed Post services of the Department of Post.
